The March (rescheduled) event for A Series of Accessible Events will be an open gym at Playstrong Studio LLC!
A Series of Accessible Events (ASOAE) Mission:
To provide children with special needs , including physical, cognitive, developmental and sensory differences, with a variety of opportunities for recreation and socialization by connecting with local businesses within the community.
The goal is provide one event per month in the Enfield area that is accessible for all children. Events will include some combination of :
- Accommodations for mobility/wheelchair accessibility
- Accommodations for communication (visuals available, response to signs, communication device)
- Social story preview
- Visual schedule, transitional aides
- sensory considerations
- activities adaptable to any ability
- Volunteers to help facilitate
